As well to the top performers and stock boosters, here are several other players who had standout performances.
Charles Anderson – 2024 – PF – Houston Superstars
It was another big weekend for Anderson, especially on the defensive end. One of the best, if not best, interior defenders on the NY2LA Association. He is incredibly active defending the paint and moves well around the interior but can also switch out onto the perimeter. A very skilled shot blocker at 6’8” with his timing and instincts.
Moses Blackwell – 2025 – PG – Reach Legends
After a 30-point game last weekend, Blackwell continued to show his electric playing ability this weekend. He consistently scored it well from both the outside but was also getting into the paint often with burst of speed blowing by defenders or coming off screens. There are few players that have his quickness and shiftiness as well to the ability to hit shots off the dribble.
Jaxson Davis – 2027 – PG – Illinois Central Elite
He hasn’t even entered high school yet, but Davis is not only playing at the 17U level but excelling at it. This is not a new occurrence as Davis has been playing up multiple level for a couple of years now and doing it a high level. He scored at least 15 points in each of his four games including a 27-point performance.
Azavier Robinson – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy
Robinson shined with a 22-point game on Saturday against a very good DB Pros team. Even as a very skilled scorer, he can impact the game in so many ways as a high-level defender and a skilled passer. He continues to be one of the top on ball defender with his great length, quickness, and energy but also has a great ability to block shots as a guard.
Zander Woodruff – 2024 – G – DV45
On Friday, Woodruff started the tournament in a big way with a 27-point performance. He continued to score the ball well throughout the tournament, especially from beyond the arc. The junior has a good stroke from deep with a quick release but is also a versatile scorer who is a playmaker off the dribble.
