The final day of the Grassroots Showcase lived up to the hype with a thrilling day of hoops and countless great games. Here are a few standouts from the day with plenty of more coverage on the way.
Eli Brown – 2026 – PG – Team Mookie
Brown along with this talented 2026 Team Mookie squad had one of the more impressive showings from the 15U level. He filled it up with 21 points while hitting five threes to help lead Team Mookie to the win Sunday afternoon. One of the more skilled and high IQ 2026 players of the tournament.
Tim Franks – 2024 – SG – Chapman Basketball
It was another hot shooting day for Franks. Even with plenty of defensive attention on him throughout the game from quality defenders, the 6’5” guard scored 19 points while hitting five threes. Franks continues to show he is one of the top shooters in the entire Midwest.
Quenton Parker – 2024 – SG – Team Ramey
There are a lot of different aspects to like about the game of Parker and they were all on display Sunday as he scored 22-points. Throughout the game, Parker displayed his shot making ability. He has a smooth jumper from both the mid-range and three with the ability to create his own shot. Parker is also a bouncy wing guard with good length.
Anthony Przybilla – 2024 – SF – Milwaukee Trailblazers
The 6’7” forward had multiple big games during the weekend and finished it off with a 21-point performance. His high-level play helped the Trailblazers finish off another undefeated weekend during the NY2LA Association. The junior has a great blend of size and skill and continues to produce.
Tavariyuan Williams – 2024 – G – DB Pro
In the biggest of moments on Sunday, Williams came up in the clutch. In the final seconds of a double overtime thriller, the 6’6” guard caught the full-length pass and beat the buzzer with a turnaround jumper for the victory. Not just a one play wonder, Williams finished with 13-points as well to his tough defensive play all game long.
