The premiere platform to kick off the grassroots travel season in the country returns in 2020 with another excellent tournament platform for boys 9U-17U teams. Annually regarded as one of the best tournaments of the year the Swish N’ Dish has an alumni that boasts NBA lottery picks, NBA draft picks, McDonald’s All-Americans, Jordan Brand All-American’s, etc. The tournament offers up a 3 game guarantee with a multi-team discount. APRIL 17-19, 2020 – GRASSROOTS SHOWCASE (“NCAA LIVE PERIOD”)
BOYS 13U-17U TEAMS – LOUISVILLE, KY
In addition to being a platform for the NY2LA Basketball Association teams the Grassroots Showcase will also offer up an open division tournament format for 13U-17U teams the will also feature teams from across the country. All games for all age groups will be placed inside one facility at the Kentucky Expo Center, which should provide a convenience high quality exposure situation for players and coaches alike from all levels of the spectrum. Our partnership on this platform is with Gary Charles of the Las Vegas Big Time and Tucker Neale of Ohio Basketball and the platform is expected to draw over 500 teams during the NCAA Live Period. The 2nd session of the NY2LA Basketball Association will tip off inside this platform and in addition to those games the tournament will also offer up a 15U-17U open division setting as well for teams looking for a high quality exposure tournament as well. Annually regarded as one of the premiere exposure events for independent teams in April, the platform will once again feature some of the best programs the Midwest has to offer and college coaches of all levels. JULY 9-12, 2020 – BEST OF THE SOUTH (“NCAA LIVE PERIOD”)
BOYS 13U-17U TEAMS – ATLANTA, GA
The NCAA Live period in July will never be the same and “Hotlanta” is the place to be as NY2LA Sports has joined forces with the Hoop Seen to produce the premiere exposure event in the country for travel teams. The tournament is open to boys 13U-17U teams and all games will be held inside one facility at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. In addition to an electric open division setting the platform will also play host to the championships of the NY2LA Basketball Association in 2020. Expected to have over 700 teams in attendance and over 1,000 college coaches in attendance in 2020 the Best of the South is the place to be for travel teams in July 2020. Synonymous with excellence at the highest level of travel basketball, the NY2LA Summer Jam has seen its fair share of NBA lottery picks, NBA draft picks, McDonald’s All-Americans, Jordan Brand All-Americans, etc. each year. Regarded as one of the true measuring sticks in terms of platforms each July the tournament is open to boys 13U-17U teams and will once again offer up pool play and bracket play action with local, regional, and national recruiting services in attendance. The NY2LA Sports brand will launch the NY2LA Basketball Academy in July of 2020. Through a partnership with Dark Horse Recruits and Dark Horse Media this platforms promises to provide another exceptional recruiting opportunity for 2021, 2022, etc. prospects in July. This platform will be exclusive to teams participating in the NY2LA Basketball Association during the spring and summer. With opportunities for quality exposure at an all-time high in the ever changing recruiting landscape, the NY2LA Basketball Academy will give each and every participant another bite at the exposure apple in the month of July.
